Why It Matters
As I think we're all aware, technology increasingly dominates teens' daily lives.
RYM's new podcast series will examine "the intricate relationship between technology and our day-to-day lives, particularly how it shapes aspects of faith and community in a digital world." They'll also "explore strategies for cultivating healthier relationships with technology and discuss the role Christianity plays in this unprecedented technological era."
It's a new series and obviously I haven't heard the upcoming podcast episodes, but RYM typically produces excellent content that aligns with Purposeful Connections' three core values: biblically faithful, culturally aware, and relationship focused. I expect the same from this series. They have a great lineup of guests.

Last week I urged us to take the time to learn where technology is headed because it's the world in which the youth we care about will live, and the time to help them is now. The last 12 minutes of the December 13th episode of the Future Focused podcast (a show which is another great tool for staying ahead of the curve) is directly focused on youth and is 100% worth listening to! It's also a great incentive for subscribing to RYM's Digital Christianity series.
